MTM52

Operative limits

Product description

Microtem MTM52 is a bidirectional unbalanced mechanical seal with a single cylindrical spring. The MTM52 mechanical seal features an elastomeric bellows and is suitable for machinery in common service at low and medium pressures. It complies with UNI EN 12756 (formerly DIN 24960) standards and is available in various material combinations, with options including stationary rings with a collar or O-rings.

The ease of installation of MTM52 makes it one of the most widely used mechanical seals, with a broad application area. It is utilized in devices and applications aimed at preventing leakage of white and gray water, in machinery across various industries such as process industries, chemical industries, centrifugal pumps, marine applications, fuel oil pumps, lubrication and screw pumps, gear pumps, and motors. Microtem MTM52 mechanical seals are also suitable for household garden and dishwasher pumps, lubricated compressors with low solid content, machinery operating at low temperatures, special rotating machinery, and oils and glycols.

Thanks to its high capability to compensate for axial misalignments, MTM52 by Microtem is recognized as one of the most reliable mechanical seals on the market.
