MTM51

Operative limits

Product description

Microtem MTM51 is a bidirectional unbalanced mechanical component seal that is designed to have a single cylindrical spring and an elastomeric bellows. MTM51 is suitable for machinery in common service that work at low and medium pressures. Compliant with UNI EN 12756 standards (formerly DIN 24960) and available in various material combinations, MTM51 comes with stationary rings with a collar or O-rings. Thanks to its ease of installation, MTM51 by Microtem is one of the most widely used mechanical seals in the industry. Also, its high capability to compensate for axial misalignments makes the Microtem MTM51 seal one of the most reliable mechancal seals on the market.

Like other component seals, Microtem MTM51 has a broad range of applications, including containment of white and gray water, the process industry, chemical industry, energy industry, centrifugal and marine pumps, fuel oil and lubrication pumps, screw pumps, gear pumps, motor pumps, household and garden pumps, pool and dishwasher pumps, lubricated compressors, and applications requiring containment of low-solid content or low-temperature fluids to prevent leakage of oils and glycols. It is also used as seals for special rotating machinery.
