MTM190

Operative limits

Product description

Microtem MTM190 is a single, balanced, external mechanical seal, independent of the direction of rotation, with a multi-spring configuration. MTM190 is a mechanical seal with the smallest axial footprint on the market, appreciated by operators for this characteristic. It can be configured with all stationary rings; moreover, this mechanical seal is interchangeable with all the most well-known mechanical seals currently available on the market. Thanks to this feature, it has been defined by industry operators as a “universal mechanical seal“. Another characteristic of the Microtem MTM190 seal is that, thanks to its unique design, it can withstand pressures up to 64 bar.

MTM190 is a mechanical seal that is widely used; some areas where it can be used include white and gray water machines, process industry, chemical industry, paper industry, oil industry, pharmaceutical industry, energy industry, sugar refineries, centrifugal pumps, marine pumps, fuel oil pumps, lubrication and screw pumps, lubricated compressors, applications with high solids and abrasives, high viscosity, and machinery operating at high temperatures.

MTM190 complies with UNI EN 12756 formerly DIN 24960 standards and is manufactured in all materials including plastics like PEEK and PTFE.
