Product description

The Watershield® Dynamic pneumatic barrier system is designed to allow its use even with a rotating shaft.
If required, by injecting air at a pressure between 0.6 and 1.2 bar, the system will manage the leakage in a controlled manner, while maintaining the rotation of the shaft at minimum rpm.
Conventional pneumatic barrier systems, when activated, do not allow shaft rotation and, unless there is an on-board brake on the propulsion line, even in the event of a failure on a single line, they could not withstand the induced motion between the propellers.
Furthermore, due to its robust construction, it becomes indispensable when coupled with seals semi-split or full-split seals in order to carry out seal repair with the boat in the water.
